July Quotes

Addysen wanted to know what my Mom and I were talking about and I said it was for grown up ears, not kid ears.  She said "What is for grown up ears?  Earrings?"

Haven: "Mommy, Brielle was making a mean face at me!"
Me: "Brielle, don't make mean faces at your sister."
Brielle: "I wasn't!  I was just pretending."

Addysen said on the way to church that she liked Red Rock Church better than another church we had visited.  Brielle then said "I like Pink Rock better!"

And then last, but not least, Brielle!  First...the before...

Mommy AND Auntie Jess Fun Day - Royal Gorge

When Auntie Jess was here, we drove down to the Royal Gorge.  It was so beautiful!

Haven loved the purple flowers

Colorado girls!

They had all the states flags across the bridge...we all took pictures by the flag of our birth

And the girls insisted that we all take a picture in front of the Virginia flag

They recently built a kids area which had a little splash area.  Came in handy since it was such a hot day!

They had a really unique play area - most of which was netted like the pictures below.  Brielle was pretty nervous about the netting so Haven would take her hand to walk across the net to get to the slide down.

Waiting in line to take the Gondola across the Gorge

The sides were all glass...the views were amazing!

Sister love...

We rode a shuttle back across the bridge...

And then planned to take a little train ride...

...however, we had to wait a while for them to fix something on it before it would work again...which caused this reaction from Haven :-)

Thankfully, they did get it fixed so we got to take our ride.

Such a fun day!
