Christmas Eve

The best birthday gift...a good book, Starbucks and quiet! :-)

We then met Cornel, Natalie and Cassandra at a great Christmas Eve service at our church

Enjoying some "warm" chocolate

My 3 favorite girls!

I love seeing what presents the girls pick out for me for my birthday and how excited they are to show me what they decided and why they thought it was the perfect gift for me!

Magically after presents, the day turns from my birthday into Christmas Eve! :-)  First up...sprinkling reindeer food on the lawn to make sure Santa doesn't miss our house!

Next...cookies out for Santa!

And of course the girls wanted to leave cookies for Ollie as well for his trip back to the North Pole! Addysen left Ollie a note again this year with his cookies which reads: "Dear Ollie, Can you bring a treaty brecfist necst year please.  Love Addysen"

One of my favorite traditions...matching Christmas sleepers on Christmas Eve!

They all got to open one of their Christmas presents.

Brielle was thrilled to find what she had been asking me to get her for nearly a year!  Ever since I got her a "comfy" Elsa on Valentine's Day, she'd been asking me for a "comfy" Anna too.  So fun to watch her excitement and then see her immediately run to get her comfy Elsa so the sisters could be together. :-)

Addysen chose to open the gift that Brielle got for her.  Good choice by Brielle getting 2 of Addysen's favorite things...Tinkerbell and books...in one!

Haven chose to open up her gift from Addysen...and proceeded to hug the Dora stickers that Addysen got her. :-)

Reading the Night Before Christmas...Cookie Monster style :-)

The tree all ready for Christmas!

Gingerbread House

Another one of my favorite traditions...decorating a gingerbread house.  The girls did a great job this year!

Christmas Lights

One night we got hot chocolates ready and went to look at Christmas light displays.  We started downtown and loved this beautiful tree decorated for our awesome country!

We then went to various musical displays around the city...it was so fun!

This one was one of the girls favorite for 2 reasons: (1) while we were there, the lights lit up to "Let it Go"...automatically making it Brielle's favorite and (2) the Santa face on the right side of the picture below.  The girls laughed and laughed on the songs where they programmed him to sing or say things.

Sky Zone

I took the week of Christmas off work to be with the girls.  We had plans every day of fun activities we wanted to do together.  One of our days together: Sky Zone!

After all that jumping, I had 3 hungry girls.  So we headed to have lunch at Jason's Deli.  Such a special day with my 3 favorite girls!

Christmas Cutout Cookies

One of my favorite traditions with the girls...baking Christmas cutout cookies! I was anxious to see how Brielle would do on kneading the dough this year since this was her reaction last year after touching the ingredients:

It all started out well...

And this year, all 3 of them loved it!

Baked and ready to frost!

Our traditional letter cookies...

The girls had so much fun decorating...they went a little cray with the sprinkles this year.  The cookies ended up being more like decorations with a little cookie to go with the decorations. :-)

Love doing this with my sweet girlies!

The best part...eating the cookies!

I know I'm biased, but I think they did a pretty great job!
