Haven has been slower in gaining her vocabulary, but she's now at a point where she can really start to communicate so much more and her words are coming so quickly! She's saying things clearer as well, but the way she says some things are just so cute...I wanted to write them down before she learns the "right" way to say them! :-)
"a key" = carry
"gawmo" = Gramma
"ga boom" = excuse me and thank you
"a" (said as "uh") starts about everything she says...i.e. "a" foot, "a" bow, "a" dink (drink), "a" cereal
"a kaka" = a duck
"fingee" = finger
"uv" = love
I would be a very rich woman if I had a penny for every time Haven said "I go down" (to go downstairs to our play room) or "I fell down" in a day :-)
She now says "help" all the time...but uses it to say that she wants to help us...not that she needs help. She wants to do everything herself now...buckles, climbing in her car seat, getting her pants on, etc., etc., and will say "help, help!, HELP!" if we are doing it for her. :-)
When I tell her something we're going to eat that she likes, she will say "Mm...mmmm!"
And have to add something that Addysen told me the other day. We talk about being kind to her sister a lot and she informed me that she could only be kind to one of her sisters...so she'll be kind to the new baby. Guess Haven's out of luck. Ha!

Few Videos
So funny how much little ones pick up on and you don't even realize it...until it comes out of their mouth!
On Easter, we gave Addysen some sparkling cider...she's so funny when she drinks it and always says it "tickles her tongue!"
Addysen singing part of the "I've got the love of Jesus"

Fun Run
A couple weeks ago, Addysen's school had a fun run to raise money for the school. We received donations per lap and they told us they would run between 25-35 laps. I thought, um, they are 3 and 4 years old...I doubt it! However, the people that put it on did a great job...getting the kids so excited about and I couldn't believe how well (and far!) they all ran! Addysen ended up running 31 laps in total!
Here's her class coming in (Addysen is on the right with the has the red flower in her hair). The girl in the red shirt would announce them coming in and then they would run through the tunnel and into the gym.
And they're off!

At about lap 26 or 27 (running the entire time), Addysen came over to me on the sidelines and told us how tired she was. So, I ended up walking with her the rest of the time that they had left.

A couple videos...here they are coming out into the gym after being announced...
And here's our little runner!

Addysen's Car
For preschool a couple weeks ago, Addysen's class had a "drive in movie" day so we got to make a cardboard box car she could sit in to watch the movie. She absolutely loves stickers...we pretty consistently have stickers on the walls, furniture, cabinets, carpet, etc. so it was quite appropriate that she wanted to decorate her car with stickers...and she even let her sister help decorate!
All ready for the movie!
This was her license plate...she started with an "A" on the right side and then started drawing "d's"...ok a backwards name...then decided she wanted a "b". :-)
Addysen's buddy Camden always does silly faces like this (below) to make her laugh so when I was taking pictures, she decided she wanted to do a silly face like Camden...and would giggle at herself each time!

Family Pics
One of my friends graciously offered to take some family pictures while Jeff's siblings were in town for their Mom's birthday. Here are some I liked the best...

Grandparents

And Total Meltdown :-)
(the girl can seriously pout!! :-) )

And then Grampa couldn't handle it anymore and had to comfort the poor baby. :-)

Jeff with his sisters
Had to include this because it's SO Haven! This started with the last picture above of the girls with their Grandparents. Haven had her finger in her mouth so I said, "Haven, taken your finger out of your mouth"...and this is what happened...
Grammas Birthday Weekend
Jeff's Mom had a "big" birthday this year in March so to celebrate, his sisters and brother in law surprised her by flying into town and spending the weekend with her! It was so much fun to pull off the surprise and of course she was thrilled to have all her kids together to celebrate!
We had a lot of special time celebrating and just having time together!

You always have a helper to blow out the candles around here! :-)

Playing Chutes and Ladders on the porch...taking advantage of the beautiful weather that week, even when playing board games!
Her actual birthday fell on Final 4 weekend and since both Jeff and his Dad were at the final 4 this year, the girls and I took her to Richmond for the day. We had a great time together, being away, eating at Cheesecake Factory (oh how we both miss living nearby one!) and celebrating the amazing woman that my Mother in law is!!

Seriously Outnumbered...
...is what Jeff is going to be around September 3rd...when our 3rd baby GIRL is due!!! My 20 week ultrasound was this week and are so thankful that everything that's supposed to be there is there and within the "normal" limits and the baby looks to be growing well at this point! So thankful for God's huge blessing!
Addysen is at an age where she understands so much more this time around and her comments have been pretty funny. She keeps gently rubbing my belly and before we found out if it was a boy or girl she would say, "I love the baby. I'm going to give he or her lots of love and kisses when it comes out of your tummy." Though I think she thought a brother would be fun since as she put it, "I already have a sister," I think she's pretty excited to have another sister...and about teaching Haven how to be a big sister now. :-)
Haven is just along for the ride. :-) She pats my tummy and says baby...but obviously at 22 months old, she's not going to understand a whole lot until the baby comes. I keep telling her though how she really has it best...she gets to be a big sister and a little sister!

And here's our sweet little one...about 11 ounces based on their measurements. What a miracle!

Couple videos
When we were in Colorado, Haven found many ways to "play" cymbals :-)
Addysen had a ball on this trampoline at a mall we went to last month! (She was fully strapped in, Dad...don't panic! :-) )

Grampas's bday
One of the many nice things about having Jeff's parents here in town the last few months has been that we've been able to celebrate some of our birthdays together! Here are a few pics from our celebration with Jeff's Dad's birthday at the beginning of March:
The girls both made them cards - with Addysen dictating to me what to write in the card she made for him...it was pretty cute. :-)
These girls have their Grampa wrapped around their finger...and that's a huge understatement! :-)

Cousin Pics
While we were in Colorado, we decided to try to get a good picture of the 3 cousins together. We honestly weren't sure if we would come away with anything, given their ages and wondering if the photographer could even get them to look in the same direction at the same time! However, we were pleasantly surprised! We got some great pics of the girls!
