Various from last week
Tea party with Gramma

Both girls climbed in the basket...had to grab a pic!
Grampa was taking a nap on the couch when Addysen got up from her nap one afternoon. So she decided she wanted to climb up and take a nap with Grampa. :-)

Eve
Addysen's friend Camden across the street has a scarecrow in front of their house. Addysen was pretty excited about their scarecrow and really wanted one at our house too...but a "girl" scarecrow of course (theirs is a "boy" scarecrow). :-)
So a couple days ago, we went to the store and Addysen got to pick out her own scarecrow. Addysen carried her to the front of the store to pay and then all the way to the car (parked a ways away) and then wanted her new friend to sit with her in the car. Pretty funny how much she loves her scarecrow.
When we asked her what she wanted to name her scarecrow, she right away said "Adam!" I questioned if I heard her right and I had...and said, but Adam is a boy's name. She thought for a second and said "Her name is Eve!" Ha! No big shocker they are learning about creation this month in preschool. :-)

Last Pool Day
A couple weeks ago, we had what was likely our last pool day of the year...

Haven bringing bubbles to Grampa to open for her...she loves to blow them herself though!
Haven knows which shoes belong to everyone and often brings them to us when we have them off...

Bows
One of my goals for this year was to learn to make bows for the girls. So finally a few weeks ago, I decided it was time to knock this goal off the list! I am anything but creative (I'm an accountant, remember) so anything "crafty" sounds near impossible for me. :-)
I'm in love with flowers in my girls hair and some of my favorite bows of the girls have been their flower bows so I decided to start with that! I was amazed to find that they weren't too difficult to make and I loved doing it! It was even a bit addicting as I saw them coming together...kept saying, just one more...and then one more...
Here are a few that I've made so far...

Now I just have to work on Haven keeping the bows IN her hair!!

Various
Just some various pics from the last couple months that I haven't posted yet...
"Asking" to be picked up...did I mention we have a bit of drama around here?? :-)

Haven's hair is finally long enough for a little "poof!" Now we just have to work on her not pulling the poof and bows out!
Warm and dry time

Months ago, we had to move Haven out of the high chair and into a booster seat because no matter how tight we got the straps, she would climb right out of it. The booster tray can go right up against her stomach so that she can't climb out (though she's tried to figure out how!).
This is also the only bib that stays on Haven. Every other kind of bib (and I tried many!), she immediately pulled off...even the ones that were recommended to be ones that little ones couldn't pull off. I found this one on Etsy...it's awesome...ties in the back and fits her like a shirt. She doesn't fuss about it at all and can't get it off!
Now that Haven's in the booster, Addysen likes to be right next to Haven when she's eating and often they pass food back and forth to each other. Here Addysen is feeding Haven yogurt...
This is Haven's favorite toy at the moment...she loves it! It's a mini etch a sketch that she carries around the house with her, drawing things on it and asking us to erase it.

Remember this outfit, Natalie?? I have such memories of Cassandra wearing this adorable outfit. So cute on Haven also!

Just a few cute things about the girls right now...
--Both girls are ticklish on their palms. Absolutely cracks me up that for both of them, it's a major tickle area!
--For the past couple months, Haven has been nodding "yes" and shaking her head "no" to questions that you ask her...as well as to make her point when she's pointing at something (she'll point to something she wants and then nod her head "yes.") Her nods and shakes are so dramatic...all the way up at the ceiling and then down at the floor over and over for nods...so funny.
--Haven babbles all the time now. She is just dying to learn words and communicate! She comes up to people all the the time and leans her face to get inches from your face and says something as though it's real words...it's hilarious. She knows exactly what she's saying and doing her best to communicate it with us.
--Haven is in love with toothbrushes and brushing her teeth. In Love. As soon as you mention brushing teeth, or even the bathroom for that matter, she starts running to the bathroom, climbs up on the stool by the sink and points to her toothbrush. Too funny. She'd brush her teeth 50 times a day if we'd let her!
--On the way home from being out this afternoon, Addysen out of the blue says "I love my baby sister!" So precious. They are playing so well together lately!

Sisters
Before church one morning...oh such fond memories of this dress Haven's wearing! So fun to see Haven getting to wear it too!
And a pre-church mini photo shoot from a couple weeks ago in their matching outfits...

Haven was pretty much DONE with the photo shoot at this point. :-) Couldn't resist posting...Haven's a bit dramatic so we do see this face quite often around here!

15 Month Stats
A couple days ago, I took Haven to her 15 month well visit. The worst part for her is getting weighed and measured...she is just not a fan of me setting her down to have that done, but she was a trooper for the rest of the appointment! She's growing and healthy and no issues at this point!
Haven's 15 month stats are:
Height - 30 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
Weight - 21 lbs, 13 oz (25th-50th percentile)

More Gramma and Grampa Time
The girls have been enjoying lots of Gramma and Grampa time the past few weeks!

Grandma went and put on her glasses to read this book to Addysen. As soon as she came back with them, Addysen went to get her sunglasses and put them on...so she could see better too. :-)

Apparently Jeff caught Grampa and Haven in the middle of a rock throwing game...ha!

At Peaks of Otter, they have an area in the lodge with Lincoln Logs the girls always enjoy playing with. On our last trip, Addysen took all the long green pieces over to the other table and lined them up - it was very important to her that she got all of them separated and lined up on the table. Typical Addysen...ha!
