Play Mat

Haven's Uncle Johnny and Auntie Em got her this cute little play mat for her to play on. We were thrilled since most of our baby "stuff" is still in our Pod so it's been great for her to have this to play with! Addysen's as excited as anyone though...she loves playing in it with Haven and showing her what the toys are on the play mat!

Picnic

My brother and sister in law came back to Colorado from overseas last week...it's been so great having our whole family together in town! Last week we all went over to a park and had lunch and let the girls play...

...and the boys played too. :-)

Cousins

The girls decided to join the guys in their "soccer" game which was all fun and games until Cassandra got drilled in the face with a ball! Fortunately it was a soft ball and she was fine...and a few minutes later, the girls were right back out there with them again!

Zoo

A couple weeks ago, Cornel, Natalie, Jeff and I took the 3 girls to the zoo. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed seeing the animals and just time together as always!

The girls were pretty excited that they got to feed the giraffes at the zoo. Addysen kept talking about feeding the giraffes "crackers."

First Bath

So much fun to have all these "firsts" all over again with another little one! Haven had her first bath at one month old. I was thrilled to be done with sponge baths and she loves her "real" baths!

Abee!!

Addysen and Cassandra love to make each other laugh. In the last couple weeks, they made up this word "Abee!!" and Addysen will say it over and over and they giggle every time she says it. I guess it's their own little cousin language. :-)

There's That Smile!!

Well, that wasn't so hard to get a picture of my sweet girl's smile...she was smiling away this morning! Her eyes just light up when she smiles...so precious!

Just had to record so I remember when...Haven gave me her first "real" smiles yesterday morning (6 weeks old). Oh so precious!! There's just nothing like that! Now we just have to work on getting it on camera! :-)

Professional Pics

Last week we went and got some professional pictures taken of the girls. I think we probably picked two of the hardest ages to get pictures done at...newborn and almost 2. Haven was a challenge to get "propped" up correctly without her dress going half over her face and Addysen was thrilled that they had legos in the waiting room and wasn't too interested in anything else! The photographer had his work cut out for him and attempted to get some shots of Addysen as she would run back and forth from where they take the pictures and the waiting room. Regardless of its challenges, we did get some pictures we were pretty happy with...here are some of them...
